When the noon classes ended for the second summer, I convinced my husband to try the 6 am class, just until the noon class resumed. We've been going consistently, at 6 am, for almost a year. It's a great workout and never boring. Our fitness has noticeably improved! Yesterday we were riding outside, up-hill with a head wind, thinking about Judy and Janice Joplin fondly. Thank you Judy!"

The goal was to be in great condition when we took out our tandem in the spring.But I never in my wildest dreams thought it would strengthen my knee muscles so much that I'd finally walk correctly. Arthritis and several surgeries had left one of my knees in such a weakened condition that I doubted that it would ever feel as strong as it does today. Spinning has not only put me in shape for those tandem rides, but put a spring back in my step as well!"

...that made it irresistible. It got so that I could not wait for Tuesdays & Thursdays to roll around so I could hit the spin trail. I found that I redistributed some weight, lowered my blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol! The biggest kick was that I found an energy level I had not known before! After nearly 5 years I still spin with Judy 2 days per week and I actually teach spinning classes on 2 other days. I have also developed a camaraderie with my class regulars and we all keep each other strong and fit as we move to Dave Mathews, The Eagles, The Dead, Clapton and the rest. There is no better way to start the day...at least on Tuesday and Thursday!"
